What Our Tool Fixes

This tool corrects the DPI metadata of your images. It will fix the most common KDP rejection reason: "Image resolution is too low (72 DPI)."

Important: This tool only changes DPI metadata. If your image genuinely lacks pixels (e.g., it's 300×300px for a full-page cover), you'll still need to recreate the image at higher resolution. DPI metadata cannot invent pixels that don't exist.

How to Check Pixel Dimensions for KDP

For a standard 6×9 inch book cover at 300 DPI, you need: 6 × 300 = 1800px wide and 9 × 300 = 2700px tall (minimum). Check your image dimensions in Windows (right-click → Properties → Details) or Mac (Preview → Tools → Inspector).
